The Tahltan Heritage Trust reports annually to Tahltan members, on activities, financials and distributions. The Trust has traditionally presented to Tahltans during the Tahltan Annual General Assembly (AGA). In 2020 and 2021, the Trustees weren’t able to present to Tahltans, as Covid restrictions prevented in person gatherings. The Trustees look forward to reporting to Tahltans at the 2022 AGA.
The Trustees have held several engagement sessions with Tahltans over the years to obtain feedback to help shape development of the Tahltan Community Foundation. In fall 2021, the Trustees held virtual presentations with Tahltan Leadership (executive, board, and chiefs and councils) to introduce the new Tahltan Heritage Trust. In future, the Trustees will hold engagement sessions with Tahltans to establish multi-year priorities for a strategic plan for the Foundation.
